Alpha Paper Doll Swap Is Here

I received in the snail mail today my Alpha Paper Doll Swap, that I participated in recently.
Here are the six "Paper Dolls", I received in the swap. They are from V.Noechel, Teri Calia, Mary Pendergrass, Vickie Trancao, Miz Bella and Barbara Johnston. I know where Miz Bella and Teri are from. I would find it really interesting to know where the other ladies are from too?
If you could share that with me, that would be great. Then I can add that information, to the back of each of your Paper Dolls.
Thank you to Miz "Amazing" Bella, for hostessing this very awesome Paper Doll swap.
Enjoy your day.

The Moon

I was playing around with Tarot card images and came up with this "Funky" Art Paper Doll.
I used my watercolor pencils, dove blender pen and ink to paper . This fellow looks like a hippie maybe off to Woodstock, to dig some groovy rock band. He is a very colorful character, what do you think his theme is?
Enjoy your art work.

Poison Circus

I cannot believe how fast this summer is going, the fall is just around the corner. It feels so long ago I was invited to be a Guest Artist at our local Town Hall. It is here already, Thursday at 7:00 is where I will be at the Town Hall in Waterford. I created this Art Paper Doll to donate to this event. This Alpha stamps clown image is just a priceless face and I love adding lots of color to this image. In this post picture the color looks yellow, it is really lime green. I always try to have an idea of theme, maybe this is a fairy fortune teller clown ? LOL. It is always such fun to see where our art imagination take us in our creative journey. Nothing is more satisfying than creating art. Wish me luck Thursday night, it does not rain.
Have a great day.

Captured In Time

Jumping Jacks creative inventor, was so clever . These artful figures were all attached with string, for a children's amusement.
I changed all the colors of this image and distressed it with ink to give an antigue look. I feel these toys are captured in time, such a work of art. I used the words beauty sleep because when you pulled these french figure's string, they wake up from there beauty sleep. I had purchased the chain piece and had no idea what I would do with it. Well it work out well to attach to the back of the brad on the head, to hang this figure up. I enjoy having all different bits and piece to work with, you never know what you will create with them.
Have a great day.

The Turtle Dove

The Turtle Dove makes a lazy purr like a cat, but with a double note: Purr-purr ! " It is similar to a pigeon, as you can see from the picture, and likes company, so there are usually several Turtle Dove' nest together.
Turtle Doves eat grain, seeds and berries, but not insects.
Just for you, enjoy.

Ooh La La

We all would love to visit Paris, what a dream come true. This is the first of three cards for an altered card swap, I have joined. This Butterfly card opens up from the bottom, so it looks like Marie is standing. You cannot see it here, in this scanned picture. I used gel medium and a Paris themed paper napkins to create this card.
The Art Paper Doll is from Character Constructions, I used my watercolor pencils after Marie was stamped in black ink. I think this card is finished, I am not sure if I want to add something else? That is usual, when you know you are done.
Have a great day.

Then they were good to go and would have a marvelous day of skating.

Joyous Me

No rules and just so colorful is the theme for this Journal page. I didn't put gloves on, when creating this background. Now I have colorful fingers too, lucky the color wears off pretty fast.
After I finished this page, I looked at the hand in the corner of the page. I laughed to myself, do you remember "Thing" from The Addams Family T.V. series? Maybe this is "Thing", making a come back.
Enjoy your day.
