Peace Zentangle

Changing Waves
Nothing is more fun than going a new direction in your art, change always feels good.
It felt time to try something a little different. I love to draw and just have not done this for years. Why do we do this to ourselves, not make time for what we enjoy ?
When I was creating this funky Zentangle gal her hair reminded me of flowing waves. I started to imagine her hair was all about the life journey and what the future holds for her...
Happy creating.

Greek Goddess that had snakes for her hair-Medusala. I think was her name. I did a drawing when I was young that looked like this but without the peace signs. That came later...

Laura, I love, love , love this one! Wowweeee! I agree with Sharon, this is a great direction for you! Your paper dolls are wonderful as well. As far as I can see, any direction you go will be a good one!

The first thing I thought of when I saw your Zentangle was: Medusa transformed by her art! I have to try this sometime. It really looks like fun.
P.S. I like the way you went beyond the abstract with this one.

I am loving this new direction- and all those textures and lines are wonderful. I also really like that I can still see your style coming thru even tho it's in a different format.
Of course nothing will stop me from continuing to love your dolls....happy creating whatever may inspire you!
Hugs,
Stephanie
